* Spent at her pre-teen yrs singin in skool playz and auditioning TV projects.
* '92-met R.Kelly and started workin but then rumors were bein spread dat they were gettin married, so she stopped working with him.
* June of '94 released debut album "Age aint nuttin but a Number"
* Summer of '96 released "One in a Million" which reached #1 R&B singles chart with her single "If your girl only knew". The album to double platinum.
* She made a movie wit Jet Li called "Romeo Must Die"
* She released her 3rd album "Aaliyah" and was also in the movie "Queen of the Damed"
* On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah was killed in a plane crash in da Bahamas after shooting the video of "Rock the Boat". She was only 22 yrz old.
